Jericho Music was first formed as Abbeydale Recording Studios Ltd in West London in 1983 -  
back when The America’s Cup and Men At Work’s Land Down Under put Perth on the map and
The Police were also being men at work with their Ghost In The Machine tour.

A middy of Swan lager was 50c but MIDI was then pretty new and there were no computers in studio
control rooms. No samplers, no CD’s, no plug-ins, no internet, no autotune…

BUT there were loads of ideas and loads of tape and razor blades!

Director Jerry Freedman started the UK’s first commercial Song Demo Production Service as a means of combining guitar and keyboard skills with a love of arranging, producing and recording.

Jericho’s years of experience have been drawn from large and small projects, commercial and private,
having worked in both TV/film and audio only.
